New City Nissan College Camp

The first ever New City Nissan College Camp was held on June 16th and 17th at Sand Island Field. Over 40 high school players received instruction by college coaches from Hawaii and the mainland. College coaches from Hawaii Pacific University (HI), Chaminade University(HI), Notre Dame de Namur (CA), Saint Martin's (WA), Central Arizona College (AZ), Southern Nevada (NV) were in attendance.
Players participated in speed, throwing and fielding drills with measured results. Pitchers were measured for velocity and spin rate of their pitches. Each batter received a video of their swing with analysis.
